2. Privacy policy and personal data
Data collected and its use
PLS FLUID DYNAMICS processes the personal data provided by visitors through the website’s forms: identity information, contact details and information relating to their enquiry.
This data is used to review and respond to enquiries and, where a quotation is requested, to prepare that quotation. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk; they must be completed to submit the form. All other fields are optional.
Data storage and legal basis
The information is stored in the website’s administration system to respond to your enquiry and follow up on correspondence. Its use is based on PLS FLUID DYNAMICS’ legitimate interest in responding to people who contact the company. Where an enquiry is intended to lead to a contract with you, processing is based on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Recipients and hosting
The recipients are authorised personnel at PLS FLUID DYNAMICS and technical service providers responsible for hosting and managing the website, within the scope of their duties. The website is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland, a country covered by an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission.
External services
The website uses external services for certain features, including displaying maps, protecting forms against automated submissions and providing fonts or technical resources.

Data retention
Enquiries and related correspondence are retained for as long as necessary to review and handle the enquiry and follow up on any resulting correspondence. If the enquiry leads to the provision of services, the information required to manage the customer relationship and contract is retained in accordance with the rules applicable to those processing activities.
Your rights and how to exercise them
To exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, as well as your right to data portability where applicable, you can write to contact@pls-fluid-dynamics.com or to the postal address provided in the legal notice. These rights may be exercised subject to the conditions set out in the applicable regulations.
Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal. You may also give instructions concerning the handling of your personal data after your death.
Proof of identity will only be requested if there are reasonable doubts about your identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
3. Cookies and other tracking technologies
What is a cookie?
The website uses cookies and other tracking technologies to store information on, or access information from, your device.
Necessary cookies
Some tracking technologies are exempt from consent requirements, including those used to remember your privacy choices. Axeptio uses tracking technologies to record your preferences and the services you have accepted or refused.
Google Analytics 4 - audience measurement
With your consent, Google Analytics 4 is used to measure website traffic and analyse how the website is used, including the pages viewed and visitor interactions. This service processes online identifiers and information about the browser, device and geographical area. These identifiers constitute personal data; they do not make browsing anonymous.
The lifespan of cookies on your device is separate from the retention period for data stored in Google Analytics 4.

The role of Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is used to load and organise the website’s tags, including those for Axeptio and Google Analytics 4. Its presence does not constitute consent to tracking technologies that require consent.
Google states that it deletes Tag Manager HTTP request logs within 14 days of receiving them. This period relates to technical logs, not cookies. Google also processes aggregated diagnostic data about how tags operate. Further information: Google Tag Manager privacy and security.
Accepting, refusing or changing your choices
The Axeptio consent manager allows you to:
- accept all;
- refuse all optional services;
- customise your choices.
You can reopen the consent manager at any time using the cookie management button on the website to change your choices or withdraw your consent.
The banner may appear again when the period for remembering your choice expires, after the relevant cookies have been deleted or when a change to the setup requires a new choice.
Refusing Analytics cookies does not prevent you from browsing the website.
You can also delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so removes the information stored in the deleted cookies, including certain preferences.
